Privacy Policy

Last updated 17 September 2026

This website does not collect anything about you. It has no contact forms, no accounts, no newsletter, no analytics and no advertising. It sets no cookies of its own. What follows explains that in full, and what the few exceptions are.

Who we are

Llangwm Rugby Football Club, a community amateur rugby club in Pembrokeshire, is responsible for this website.

What this website collects

Nothing. There is no form to fill in, nothing to sign up to, and no script on the site that records what you look at or how long you stay. We do not know who visits.

Server logs

Like almost every website, the company that hosts these pages keeps standard access logs so it can run and secure its service. Those typically record an IP address, the time of the request, which file was asked for, and which browser asked for it. The club does not use those logs to build any picture of individual visitors, and they are kept and deleted according to the host's own retention policy rather than ours.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies. It stores nothing in your browser — no cookies, no local storage, no session storage. That is why you have not been shown a cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to. Adding one would be theatre.

One exception is in your hands. The map on the contact section does not load until you press Show map. If you press it, Google Maps is loaded from Google's servers and may set its own cookies at that point. If you would rather that did not happen, simply do not press it — the club's address and a plain link to Google Maps are there either way.

Third parties

  • Google Maps — embedded only when you ask for it, as above. Google's own privacy policy applies once it loads.
  • Instagram and Facebook — the site links to the club's accounts but does not embed any feed or widget, so those companies learn nothing about you unless you click through.
  • Llangwm Local History Society — the archive section links to their pages. Their site is their own responsibility.
  • The host — whoever serves these files, as described under server logs.

Typefaces are served from this website rather than from a font service, so no request about you goes to a third party when a page loads.

Photographs of people

The site shows photographs of club members, coaches and committee, and historical team photographs in which people are named. If you appear in a photograph here, or are named in a caption, and would like it removed, please contact the club using the details above and we will take it down. You do not have to give a reason.

The historical photographs and their captions come from Richard Howells' centenary history of the club, published online by the Llangwm Local History Society. They are used here with the club's involvement and credited on the page.

Children and the junior section

Mini and junior rugby involves under-18s. Photographs of children are only published where the club has permission from a parent or guardian, which is handled by the club in person rather than through this website. If you are a parent or guardian and want a photograph removed, contact the club and it will be removed.

Your rights

Because the website collects no personal data, there is usually nothing for us to give you access to or delete. Where the club does hold information about you — membership records, a photograph on this site, correspondence — you have rights under UK data protection law to ask what is held, to have it corrected, to have it erased, and to object to its use. Contact the club using the details above.

If you are not satisfied with how the club has handled a request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If the website changes in a way that affects this — a contact form, analytics, an embedded feed — this page will be updated before the change goes live, and the date at the top will change with it.
